Where the story began...
Sweet Satisfaction is a vibrant and creative company, based in the South West of England, providing beautifully handcrafted cakes which are individually tailored to suit each client. The company is made up of Rachel Bowering and Nicole Sexton, who both have a passion for cake making and decorating, specialising in beautiful sugar craft work and novelty cakes.
Rachel is a highly accomplished pastry chef with over 20 years in the catering industry, including working at the prestigious Savoy Grill in London, White's Gentlemen's Club and the Queen Elizabeth II cruise liner. Since then Rachel has headed up the pastry section of a prestigious 4 star establishment in Devon. During her career Rachel has continued to develop her skills in floral sugar craft, by attending numerous courses.
Nicole is also a trained pastry chef, originally from South Africa, where she was trained to a high standard in cake icing and floral art. Nicole left South Africa as a Chef de Partie in 2005 and has since worked in four star establishments in the UK. Nicole has also been developing her sugar craft and has since gained a Silver Medal in Floral Sugarcraft at the International Cake Competition.
Both Rachel and Nicole have won numerous awards for their work in the catering industry and are always striving to improve their craft. They uphold extremely high standards and will do their best to ensure that you receive the cake of your dreams, whatever the occasion.
